Ease of use, thoughtful design, ability to manage backlog of ideas and promote to a roadmap and subsequently JIRA for execution

The service model that Aha! is evolving towards is self-service unless you subscribe to their Enterprise+ licensing tier and meet a certain minimum number of seats. Disappointing to not get the same level of service commitment that the company provided in their early days but they claim a "lean" servicing model per my recent discussions with their Customer Success department.

They really have thought of everything! The platform has such comprehensive functionality, everything you could need to plan, deliver and communicate your product releases. With so much content, it's a tough job to ensure users can easily learn and get value from the platform but this company is Best in Class at demo's; KB articles, how to videos and live training sessions. Everything is super clear and easy to learn. Why wouldn't you want this as a Product Manager?

Sometimes the sheer volume of "what's possible" can be overwhelming. Simple things can be hard to figure out because you didn't notice this one setting that is active. With that said, the times that I have needed to figure something out, the articles are super clear and the response time for support is unreal.

In the initial onboarding process I would contact customer support for clarity, seeing as how I've never used such a software. I had one phone call, fairly short. I was later tasked with sole responsibility for the software - evangelizing and coaching others on how to use it. When I reached out to support for more clarity, the reps did EVERY possible not to get on a call with me. They would email me back every other day - directing me to instructional videos - refusing to get on the phone. I needed to integrate with Jira, "Please HELP!!??"- guess what? "We have some videos that can help you.

Awful support.

As well, not very user friendly, not customizable, and just down right inferior cosmetically.

The ability to customize almost all aspects of Aha make it the choice for power users. If I can imagine it, I can probably do it. And when I can't figure out how to do it, Aha's team of professionals are there to help you out every time. The company isn't sitting on their laurels either, the engagement with customers on the Ideas portal is very active and features are constantly being added and improved.

Integration with other tools can be complex to set up, or missing for many tools. Jira integration is very important for my company, but it doesn't always have the capabilities I'd like. I'd also like to see better integration with collaboration tools like Slack, LucidSpark and PowerPoint. I realize Aha is building competitive tools for most of those, but they are not, as of yet, mature enough to make the switch to using them.

The ability to connect strategy with plans and work being done towards business objectives.

It takes some time to setup and understand but well worth the upfront effort

There isn't anything specifically, sometimes I feel it is a bit barebones, but when deploying to tons of users and customers, it honestly is better that way

I created a visual timeline of upcoming features, which made planning much simpler.

Configuring the initial setup and understanding all the plugins took quite a bit of time.

Pivot tables need twice refresh to reflect the changes. Network disruptions often cause filled out data to be lost

I was astounded by how flexible and feature-rich the platform is. You can instantly tell how much thought has gone into this product over the years. It has been developed in a way that can support so many different configurations its amazing.

I feel like it can be easy to get lost in what workspace or line you are in when navigating different tabs and roadmaps. You have to pay close attention to where you are so that you see what you are actually looking for at any given time.

We've tried a few project management programs and although we didn't decide ultimately to go with Aha long term (see cons below for why) individual users on our team (including myself) still use it for some long term strategy planning. The visualization process is really the best in the market.

We couldn't use this as our main project management because of cost, in order to justify the cost I would have made a case that their customer service was more robust than it was. I can always get the info I need, but less tech savvy people had a harder time figuring things out without the hand holding that their customer service just doesn't easily provide.

So many features and capabilities - maybe too many but you can limit what is viewable and grow as you need. Every day I'm discovering new ways to use the product. And their support is outstanding.

Number of features and customization. Ok - not much of a negative but you really need to look at how you want to use the tool. I'm limiting what it can do as we roll it out and plan to extend capabilities over time.

Very initiative to use and can be extremely powerful if setup with some foresight. It is flexible enough to be tailored to any kind of business yet rigid enough to instill needed discipline when using across a team or teams..

Not much to dislike. While it can feel expensive, their reviewer and viewer (free users) make it easy to scale across many team members.

The software is very structured and can't really customize the reporting or forms.

I liked that Aha has MANY different features and could meet a lot of the needs that I had (idea, task, project, product management).

But, it is also very complex. I could not get started using it to its' full capacity on my own. Which is okay because understandably there's a lot there but I prefer to just get started on my own.

The product support is great, being new to the software there has been a number of times where I have not known how to set up a roadmap/view in the desired way, using the Get Help function in the top right I have had a all my queries looked into and resolved very promptly. Custom Roadmaps provide a lot of flexibility to assist with creating a visually appealing roadmapFeatures boards are easy to use and can move around features easily.

At times I dont find the software that intuitive. It's easy to complete simple tasks and navigate around the software however certain features have restrictions that require a bit of a play around to see which option works best for the task. However I have found there is usually an option for the job.

Cross-collaboration, ease of use, project management, and brainstorming tools are all top-tier.

Pricing is high post-startup year as compared to similar products like Trello and some MS 365 tools.
