The large number of integrations. This is critical. It allows us to use just Buddy to manage everything.

We can always use more integrations. The more things Buddy adds to their ecosystem. The more products we can consider to improve our workflows.

Buddy is easy to use and works consistently. I set it and forget it across a wide variety of setups, apps and needs. It has always worked well. It is easy to use along with a wide feature and capability set.

I dont have any cons. I've used Buddy for years and *if* there is an issue that doesn't seem to be pipeline related or config related, I've been able to reach out to someone in customer service and have a resolution very quickly, along with insight about what happened.

Its very easy to set it up and get it going. My favourite is the UI.

There is no proper documentation or training videos on this tool. Though its easy to setup some part of it, sometimes its really hard to find the help and configure something custom.

It is one of the most powerful tools to help push code quickly, and can manage error checking when deploying an application

Buddy works really well for our organization. The no-config pipelines make setting things up super easy and save us a ton of time. The platform has all the features we need for deployment and testing—it's got everything covered. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with AWS, which is exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a quick and easy deployment suite.

Sometimes our development processes fail unexpectedly, likely a system layer problem beyond our access. Luckily, these issues tend to fix themselves after a while. The challenge is that when we need help from customer service, they're in a different time zone, making the problem-solving process slower.

Amount of integrations with different products and simple to use

The price could be little bit lower for long term users

Ease of setup and use is key to any service. Every other service that I have used pales in comparison in this aspect

Shared variable management can sometimes be tricky, especially when you have multiple pipelines.

We use Buddy to test and deploy Wordpress applications with minimum effort. We've created a delivery pipelines with few actions and hook up our favorite 3rd-party services for our projects in less than 10 minutes.

None for now, we will see if something will pop up in near future but I doubt.

Buddy has been really easy to use and set up for a number of products.

The Documentation for some features could explain more or contain different versions. Some actions in the documentation don't match up with how it is used on the pipeline.

We used DeployBot for the longest time but we just had so many inexplicable issues and frustratingly timed downtime along with slow response times.

Buddy has wiped the floor on all of these points. It takes a much more user focussed approach to deployment, giving you all the bits and pieces needed to construct a deployment/build system exactly how you need it. The way DB dictated a build system to us previously worked OK for us, but with Buddy you can achieve the same approach and so much more (or less if needed) just by virtue of it giving you complete control over every step. If you wanted to you could use it for other kinds of automation based on repos, for example we have a repo used for running checks on a live Magento database where data issues are not entirely uncommon — this pipeline runs checks there and notifies us if it finds something wrong.

Love Buddy, and we'll never be looking back.

There are some minor edge case features I'd like to see, it doesn't tick every single possible box, but this is really so minor as whatever I'm referring to can be achieved somehow with thought.

I like a lot the easy way to configure projects and create pipelines to deploy my application in different environments.

I think they should create most documentation.

Easy to use, simple, powerful and intuitive UX.

Documentation could be more in depth in some areas, it is a bit of a learning curve at first.

Using Buddy for web deployment process made my working life so much better. Once set up, it's very easy to use and given me so much piece of mind.

Most of the time, it works great, but when there's an error happening, it could get tricky to resolve the issue.

Buddy.works is an important tool for our deployment!

The navigation is sometimes not self-explaining. Change the owner of the workspace you can find unter "Billing".

Flexibility. We use it to deploy anything from web apps with Vue.js, server-side applications with Laravel, WordPress and Node without any issues.

Lack of documentation to set up automated tests. I'd like to run unit tests with Jest, so it would be great if there was clear examples on how to do so and fail a deploy on failed tests.

CD/CI is hard no matter how you look at it. The design of the Buddy UI makes it so simple to create and automate the entire CI workflow. I can control every aspect of the pipeline, monitor the progress of each build and easily reach detailed logging whenever I need it.

None that I can really think of right now

Deployments are a breeze with Buddy. Every single option we could possibly want is available to us. I can't imagine not using this tool for deployments.

There aren't really any cons I've found with this tool. Some custom gulp compilations run somewhat slowly, but overall that's not a big deal.

The pros that I can tell about this software are that it is very easy to use and the user interface is also very clean and anyone can learn to use this easily. You can easily set up your pipelines to automate your CI and deployments.

There are no cons about this that I have found about this software right now.

A huge library of integrations, predefined build processes and actions yml. This platform is allowing us to slowly automate our entire development pipeline, testing through to deployment.

The price point makes it hard to take the leap onto the platform, while it is without a doubt worth it, it was a barrier that put us off for some time. Also, the limit on concurrent deployments (which is tied to your pricing tier) means sometimes your project deployments can stack up. We manage a forked repository system where our client projects inherit updates from a central repository, this can mean a significant number of projects are all queued for deployment at one time and then nothing for days.
