O Rental Essentials, da Point of Rental, é um software de gestão de estoque de aluguel escalável baseado na nuvem para empresas de aluguel de ativos fixos e móveis de todos os tipos e tamanhos. Com ferramentas como rastreamento de estoque, leitura de código de barras, PDV, processamento de cartão de crédito, faturamento, rastreamento de entrega e devolução, lembretes de manutenção, geração de relatórios de ROI e muito mais, o Rental Essentials visa a fornecer um portal de gestão de aluguel completo.
Para melhorar a experiência do cliente, o Rental Essentials fornece as ferramentas para criar uma loja de autoatendimento online totalmente personalizada e de marca. Os fornecedores podem fazer upload de produtos na loja online com fotografias e detalhes e, quando um cliente faz uma reserva, os dados são sincronizados automaticamente com o calendário do Rental Essentials e os níveis de estoque são atualizados automaticamente. No painel de fornecedores do Rental Essentials, os usuários podem rastrear aluguel e estoque usando a ferramenta de calendário e obter um resumo de transações recentes, novas reservas, além de entrada e saída de aluguéis.

Point of Rental is the central hub for our business, and is where we do nearly 100% of our day-to-day tasks. There is no better dedicated product on the market for a rental business, but be aware that not all of the additional features are worth the price of admission.
Vantagens
Point of Rental is basically handling every facet of a rental business, from time clock to inventory to depreciation to reservations and missed rental tracking.
Desvantagens
The software has clearly been added to and modified over time, and the UI is uneven and inconsistent in many places. Many of the modules have only very basic functionality or are overly complicated to use.

We're glad you're continuing to enjoy the software - we feel that one of the advantages to having so many additional features is that it allows you to only add the features that will be worth it for your business (with thousands of businesses using the software, there are going to be a lot of differing requirements).

Vantagens
Just when you think you know it all you find another way of processing something or there's another way to find the information you need.
Desvantagens
Adjusting an invoice. The customer gets confused when they see a "C" invoice they assume it's a credit when it is an addition to the invoice.

Vantagens
It contains a broad spectrum of Rental Management Reports, and functional reservation methodologies.
Desvantagens
The only short comings I experienced with the software is that the excel downloads were not written to properly align column rentals. We need to provide critical reports annually to our accounting firm and a lot of time is wasted cleaning up aliging column headings.We use the Item Categories for Marketing purposes.Item types need to be expanded to make integration to sales tax software easier.Make an item type for Externally Purchased ServicesMake an item type for Freight it distorts Sales Values .Your item type breakouts feed the Standard POR Sales Tax Report.We customized a Sales tax report to put |DEL keyed items into separate columns, but an item type breakout would better integrate Freight for State Sales Tax Matrixes.You should implement the Rental Bookings report I mapped out for POR 11 years ago. We have been using it and I speced it completely for ypu.

Even though I spoke to a new customer service representative, he still provided excellent services, popping me on hold to check things he was not 100% sure of.
He was very polite and sorted out my enquiry very quickly.

We used to use several different, non-integrated, software products to get our quoting, bookings and invoicing done. Switching to POR where all the features we needed were integrated improved our office and shop efficiency to an extent that we didn't foresee.
Vantagens
The ability to program and manage dynamic packages for our tent inventory was huge for us! The support we've received over the decade of being with POR has been excellent overall. Investing in this software really was a turning point in our companies growth and is something I wished we had done sooner.
Desvantagens
We do not appreciate the current subscription model of the software. When we initially joined we were able to purchase our user licenses or modules, now for additional users or modules we are leased them.
