We set this up in just over an hour, including adding all our lists. Having used MailerLite, Mailchimp, and other services, this one jumped to the top because of its excellent social mission.
Vantagens
EmailOctopus is easy to set up, with plenty of handy support from real people who are clearly invested in the product. Most of the features currently meet the industry standard from what I've seen among other services, and they're still building out a lot of features as well. I'm excited for what's to come.
Desvantagens
It's still a little early, but the number one thing needed for our use case is deeper Zapier integration (more triggers, more things to be triggered by).

A friendly, clean and reasonably priced mailing list company.

I moved from a different mailing list company which had significantly raised its' prices and bloated its' product full of "features" I didn't need. I was nervous switching, but it was completely painless, even though I had to setup templates and sign-up forms from scratch. Moving my list of 1500 subscribers across was also very easy.
Vantagens
The interface is extremely clean with no clutter or bloat. The website runs smoothly with no lag when I'm adding lots of info to a newsletter. Block management is easy to understand and it's simple to test the emails before deploying. I appreciate the the simplicity of campaign reports and automations are easy to setup.
Desvantagens
It's not quite as feature-rich as some of the big mailing list companies. However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing as it makes it very simple to use.

I had been grandfathered into legacy pricing with my old company, but they brought out a "new" product which I was not eligible for any discount on - the price as a result was 10x higher! My grandfathered product still existed, but would no longer have new features.They had also introduced a lot of bloat into the product. I really liked the clean interface as soon as I tried it. The pricing seemed fair and I especially liked the option to use Amazon AWS at a reduced cost. I asked customer service many questions before switching and they were always really friendly, fast and quick to sort out any issues. I also like to support a smaller company that's having to compete with the established players.

Unfair comparison with Mailchimp

I like it, but that's because I found workarounds.
Fx. I design the NewsLetter in MailChimp and copy/paste the HTML. It works fine that way.
Vantagens
I moved from MailChimp, because of the price tag. Octopus is way cheaper, but it's still possible to send the same quality emails and that's great.
Desvantagens
1. A better interface to make your own template/design. Limitations in fonts, sizes, etc
2. List features are limited. No way to create segments or groups based on subscriber data.
3. Regarding reports: A graphic overview of where the clicks are placed.

It's only in Beta at the moment, however I've added it to your account and you'll be able to use it in your next campaign.

I had the pleasure of using EmailOctopus for my email marketing campaigns, and I must say it's an excellent tool. The platform is incredibly easy to use and efficient. One of the best things about it is the wide variety of templates available, as well as the option to create custom ones.Additionally, I appreciate the free plan that allows you to schedule your campaigns, which is a feature not always included in free plans with other email marketing services. Whenever I needed assistance, their support team was fantastic, quick to respond and receptive to suggestions.Last but not least, the pricing is very affordable, especially once you reach 2500 subscribers. Overall, I would highly recommend EmailOctopus to anyone looking for an excellent email marketing tool that is easy to use, affordable, and offers fantastic customer support.

Desvantagens
Although it integrates with StoryOrigin (the platform I use to deliver magnet readers and do newsletter swaps with other authors), EmailOctopus's API doesn't support list stats. Because I swap with other authors, it helps to show my stats (list size, open rate and chick rate). But the support team was quick to respond and open to suggestions, so I'm hoping they will fix this in another update.
