O Happy Scribe é um software de transcrição baseado na nuvem que ajuda jornalistas, pesquisadores, podcasters e editores de vídeo a converter arquivos de áudio e vídeo em documentos de texto em um portal unificado. A plataforma permite que os usuários armazenem substantivos, acrônimos e outras terminologias adequadas em um vocabulário personalizado para referência durante projetos futuros.
O Happy Scribe inclui funcionalidade de pontuação, que insere automaticamente pontos, vírgulas, interrogações e exclamações no texto. O aplicativo cria novos parágrafos com base nos palestrantes, inclui legendas e permite que os administradores adicionem notas e editem transcrições em tempo real. Os profissionais de marketing também podem integrar um reprodutor de transcrição em sites e configurar códigos de tempo, quadros e velocidade de reprodução em vídeos de acordo com as legendas para melhorar a otimização do mecanismo de pesquisa (SEO na sigla em inglês).
O Happy Scribe permite que os usuários armazenem arquivos usando PCI DSS, ISO, HTTPS, TLS e outras normas de segurança e os compartilhem com partes interessadas externas ou internas para colaborar em vários projetos. In addition to creating my captions and transcribing my own videos, I've loved using Happy Scribe to save time. I appreciate being able to transcribe other people's videos so I can read the script rather than have to watch a video when I'm pushed for time or need to go back and refer to detailed information. Also they are a really friendly team with great communication!
Vantagens
Happy Scribe is a pleasure to use! I have been so impressed with this software - the dashboard is intuitive and the options are just what I was looking for. Transcribing videos and creating captions is a breeze with Happy Scribe. You get highly professional results without any tech hassle. I love the options provided and it's saving me loads of time.
Desvantagens
There really isn't anything I dislike about this software. It's easy to use, great dashboard, doesn't take long to process and produces lovely results.

We use it to subtitle standup comedy videos. It makes the process faster than going from zero and friendly for non tech-saavy team members.
Vantagens
It is easy to use, automatic transcription is acceptable and it has a friendly interface.
Desvantagens
Transcriptions are far from perfect unless your speech is impecable and the recording is too. Everything will requiere editing. Sometimes, very heavy editing.

Pleasantly surprised at technical accuracy of transcriptions

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied/pleasantly surprised with HappyScribe. I've used Rev.com in the past and was disappointed by their human transcriptions/translations (not even the AI tool), so glad to see something that works well. I know Rev has improved upon their tool as well since then but I was pretty disappointed by the level of output last time.
Vantagens
Most of my transcriptions involve very technical financial terms, and I have various speakers from around the world with different accents. HappyScribe has been able to handle the technical terms and the various accents (I love that there's a choice to indicate what kind of accent it is) better than I expected.
The proofreading tool is very useful.
Desvantagens
I haven't experienced any negative issues so far. Can't think of anything I don't like at this time.

Huge time saver when transcribing videos

Vantagens
The speech recognition with time indexing and also the ease of use to edit and correct the recognized text are well done. You can both transcribe and create captions and the process is seamless. The ability to work with different languages is a big plus.
Desvantagens
The identification of different speakers doesn't work well and should be improved. Further, there's always room for improvement in the speech recognition itself, although it's already more than usable. Searching for text in a transcription is cumbersome because the search action doesn't move the cursor to the right location.
