The last two childcare software apps we had were not as good. It's so disappointing to have all your deposits cleared only to find out that they did not, and you're having money pulled from your account three days later. Well, Playground will decline for insufficient funds on the spot and notify the client immediately, so you can collect in-house if needed. Now the customer service chat is a REAL PERSON, no more A.i. bot that cannot solve your issue, leaving you to wait days for a tech to call you back. Our parents only had it for a week and are already saying how easy it is to navigate, much better than the other apps, so that's a plus. Our assigned onboarding operator \[sensitive content hidden\] has been a lifesaver, eliminating all the nervousness of switching to a new app; she made it so easy to learn with her 30-minute weekly trainings. The interface is lacking in esthetics and its just not a very comprehensive system to use. Expense feature is able to deliver on syncing my bank transactions. > > So far it has been marginal at best, but it has a lot of features that are good ideas but not well thought out or executed. Playground is on the right track but needs to partner with high quality early learning centers that really use technology to operate their programs and would be able to give more insight on how they could potentially improve the platform. Children of Joy would love to do it because I see the potential in Playground and that's why I made the switch from a 30+ year established system and brand like Procare to a brand new company, relative to Procare, like Playground. Also, the planning portion so we can put the overall what we did for the week is great. > > **Desvantagens**: Would love for better billing visibility in the app as the admin. For smaller facilities like ours, it's helpful to be able to provide real-time information when parents have questions. It certainly isn't going to replace QuickBooks, but it's solid. > > The team is incredibly responsive, and helps when I have issues/requests. The customer service is tremendous, and there's always someone to help me.
